L'Agenzia per la protezione dell'ambiente è un'agenzia del governo federale degli Stati Uniti d'America, incaricata della protezione ambientale e quella della salute umana, perseguite attraverso la puntuale applicazione delle leggi approvate dal congresso degli Stati Uniti d'America.
L'Agenzia fu creata su proposta del presidente Nixon e divenne operativa dal 2 dicembre 1970. L'Agenzia è guidata da un amministratore, che è nominato dal presidente e confermato con un voto del Congresso. L'amministratore attuale in carica è dal 9 luglio 2018 Andrew R. Wheeler in seguito alla ratifica della nomina da parte del Senato.
