De rooms-katholieke parochiekerk Altmünster is een beschermd monumentaal religieus gebouw in de markgemeente Altmünster in het district Gmunden in Opper-Oostenrijk. Als parochiekerk behoort zij tot het dekenaat Gmunden van het bisdom Linz. Ze staat onder het patroon van de heilige Benedictus.
Altmünster is een van de oudste parochies in Opper-Oostenrijk. De geschiedenis van de parochie gaat terug tot de 8e eeuw. Tussen 748 en 777 werd met grote waarschijnlijkheid een Benedictijner abdij gesticht. In 909 wordt het klooster Altmünster in een document genoemd. Ten laatste in 955 werd het klooster opgeheven en uit de abdij werd een parochie.
