In het Huis van Alijn kun je ook gewoon eventjes verpozen. Aan de balie zeg je gewoon dat je naar het "Cafeetse" wil en men verwijst je vriendelijk naar een knus cafeetje aan de andere kant van de binnentuin.
s Zomers kun je er genieten van de prachtige tuin, bij minder goed weer kun je in het gezellige cafeetse bijvoorbeeld een Plumetje, een typisch Gents jenevertje, nuttigen. Drink je Plumetje zoals de kenners, namelijk half om half: de helft kriekenjenever en de helft graanjenever! Santé!
