In het voorjaar van 2024, enige weken voor de verkiezingen, vonden hier de opnames plaats van het VTM programma 'Het Conclaaf'. In dat programma werden enkele politiek kopstukken bij elkaar gezet in dit kasteel. En dat leverde interessante televisie op dat daar politiek smulpapen zeker kon gesmaakt worden.. Programmamaker Eric Goens bracht hier Bart De Wever, Alexander De Croo, Petra De Sutter, Sammy Mahdi, Tom Van Grieken, Raoul Hedebouw en Conner Rousseau een weekend lang samen waar ze op de roostere werden gelegd over hun politiek programma.
