Beschrijving
Het Zwart Water is een geklasseerd landschap met zowel moeras- en oevervegetatie als dennenbos. Het reservaat heeft een weelderige plantengroei. Zo kan men hier wateraardbei, zompzegge, gagel, dopheide, waterlelie , breedbladige wespenorchis en zelfs veenbes, muizenoor en heidekartelblad terugvinden.
Het reservaat is ook een belangrijke broedplaats voor vogels. We kunnen er dodaars, kuifmees, wintertaling, slobeend en rietgors aantreffen.
