In 1912 werd deze brouwerij opgericht. In dit district werden alle activiteiten voor de fabricage van bier gecentraliseerd: brouwerijen, flessenproducenten en producenten van brouwmachines.
In 1926 werd de fabriekstocht van 30 meter gebouwd. De toren is niet alleen een voorbeeld van de reclamefunctie van Art Deco, maar ook een voorbeeld van een ingenieuze bouwtechniek.
De activiteiten van de brouwerij werden in 1952 stopgezet, maar het Atlas-bier werd tot 1980 nog steeds geproduceerd door de Haecht Brouwerij. Haecht bleef de gebouwen in Anderlecht gebruiken als depot.
Enkele jaren geleden werd de brouwerij gekocht door de non-profitorganisatie Emmaüs. Het werd in 2001 beschermd.
