Net buiten het stadscentrum staat de molen "De Goede Hoop".
Menen telde vroeger talloze molens. Slechts één is bewaard gebleven en recent ook volledig maalvaardig gerestaureerd. Oorspronkelijk werd de molen als olieslagerij gebruikt. Het korengedeelte kwam pas later in werking. Op heden is enkel het korengedeelte nog in werking.
In 1981 werd de molen aangekocht in door de stad. In 1992 kreeg het Stedelijk Molencomité vzw de molen in erfpacht en kon in 1993 de restauratie starten. De officiële inhuldiging vond plaats op 29 april 1995.
