Het weidevogelreservaat is ruim 2 hectare groot. Het is in trek als broedgebied voor ondermeer de Grutto, Bruine kiekendief en Bergeend. In groep kan het natuurreservaat ook bezocht worden via een begeleide wandeling met gids. Hiervoor moet wel vooraf eerst gereserveerd worden.
