Spiere is een dorpje in de Belgische provincie West-Vlaanderen en een deelgemeente van de faciliteitengemeente Spiere-Helkijn. Het was een zelfstandige gemeente tot aan de gemeentelijke herindeling van 1977. Spiere ligt langs de Schelde in het uiterste zuiden van de provincie, tegen de grens met Wallonië. In Spiere monden de Grote Spiere en het Spierekanaal, dat parallel aan de Spiere de Schelde met de Deule verbindt, uit in de Schelde.
