De Warande is voor het publiek opengesteld in 1952. Al meer dan 50 jaar lokt het domein gedurende de zomerperiode tienduizenden bezoekers. De dagrecreant vindt in De Warande 2 openluchtzwembaden, een waterglijbanencomplex, een speeltuin en zandspeelplaats, een visvijver, een sporthal en een overdekt zwembad.
De openluchtzwembaden werden in 2001 en 2002 volledig vernieuwd en behoren tot de mooiste van België. Natuurlijk vindt u er ook een taverne met een terras en een uitzicht over heel de warande.
De Warande is elke weekdag geopend van 09.30 tot 20.00 u., in het weekend tot 18.00 u.
Honden zijn niet toegelaten.
OPGELET!
Het is verboden om in De Warande te zwemmen met zwemshorts en bermuda's.
Toegang tot het openluchtzwembad kan enkel op vertoon van de identiteitskaart.
