De zavelput bij het Goed te Beaulieu (eeuwenoude hoeve die tot de Frankische tijd terug klimt) is de waterplas die ontstaan is uit een zandwinning. Bij de stopzetting van de ontginning in 1986 heeft de gemeente het 5 ha groot gebied aangekocht. De put werd gevoed door grond en regenwater en werd een interessante vijverbiotoop. De Zavelput en Leieboorden zijn een ideaal terrein voor de wandelaar.
