De Pont Saint-Nicolas is de bekendste brug in Chiny en werd oorspronkelijk gebouwd rond 1740 om de oen nog houten brug over de rivier te vervangen door een degelijke stenen versie met keien die uit Suxy, Assenois en Straimont kwamen, vanaf dan heette de brug al Pont Saint-Nicolas en had het in de brug ook het heiligenbeeld verwerkt. Op 11 mei 1940 werd de brug door de Franse troepen echter vernietigden werd later in 1955-1956 heropgebouwd. Het heiligenbeeld staat overigens nog steeds op de brug maar door in weer en wind te staan is Saint-Nicolas niet meer goed herkenbaar.
