Dit landhuis (niet toegankelijk) werd in 1850 in laat classicistische stijl gebouwd als jachtslot voor de rijke Hasseltse jeneverstoker Paul Jacobs-Stellingwerff. Het ligt op het laagste punt van Lummen. Vandaar de naam "Lagendal". Gedurende lange tijd was in dit kasteel een sterrenrestaurant gevestigd onder de naam 'Kasteel Saint Paul'. In 2005 verkocht de familie de Chaumenton het kasteel aan de familie Verbeeck uit Tessenderlo. Deze familie bewoont thans het kasteel. Rond het kasteel bevind zich een groot park van ongeveer 9 ha met een vrij strakke tuin met een opvallend ronde vijver. Het park is volledig omringd door een gracht en een omwalling. Nog opvallend is knoteikenrij die in het park staat.
