Bij knooppunt 13 verlaten we het jaagpad richting knooppunt 47. We fietsen hier langs de drukke Woluwelaan. In 2007 realiseerde de Vlaamse Overheid in samenspraak met de stad Vilvoorde een eerste brug voor zwakke weggebruikers over de R22-Woluwelaan ter hoogte van het Schoewever.
Hierdoor werd de verbinding tussen de wijk Houtem en het centrum van Vilvoorde een stuk veiliger voor fietsers en voetgangers, met name voor schoolgaande jongeren.
