Het district Hoboken mag pronken met enkele zalige groenzones en parken. Park Sorghvliedt is er een van. Het gelijknamige kasteel in het park verrees tussen 1745 en 1750. Het park zelf lokt speelvogels, sportievelingen en rustzoekers.
Een alleraardigst gebouwtje in het park is de belvedère. Het staat op een heuvel aan de zuidelijke rand van het park en is ongeveer twee eeuwen oud. In de 19de eeuw deed het dienst als decoratief gebouwtje van waaruit men een mooi zicht had op het park. En dat is nog altijd het geval.
Maud Vanhauwaert had hier als stadsdichter haar residentie tot begin 2020. Ze realiseerde in het linkervleugeltje ook een museum. De sleutel van Het Kleinste Museum Ter Wereld Met Weliswaar De Langste Naam gaf ze in handen van een kunstenaar.
