De meesten die voorbij het treinviaduct van Kwatrecht fietsen zullen het niet door hebben. Maar je fietst hier vlak naast een relikt uit WOI. De bunker D22 te Kwatrecht is ingebouwd in de spoorwegbrug die je ziet vanop de Brusselsesteenweg. Enkel het dichtgemetste schietgat en deurgat getuigen nog van zijn vroeger bestaan. De bunker maakt deel uit van de bunkergordel ten zuiden van Gent.
