De Sint-Michaël-Sint-Cornelius en Sint-Ghislenuskerk is de parochiekerk van Machelen-aan-de-Leie. Er wordt voor de eerste keer melding van gemaakt in 1163.
Het interieur van de kerk behoort tot de mooiste van de streek. De grote bedevaart die jaarlijks begin juli wordt georganiseerd staat bekend als 'Machelen Gulde'. Vroeger lokte 'Machelen Gulde' tienduizenden pelgrims, maar na W.O.II taande de populariteit van deze bedevaart drastisch. Het is wel nog steeds een groot volksfeest.
Rond de kerk ligt ook een mooi, gerestaureerde ommegang.
