Description

Sedert 1980 "JOBO-school" (JOngens BOrnem). Parochiale jongensschool gesticht in 1904 door Eerwaarde Heer J.J. Van Roosbroeck, pastoor van Bornem in de periode 1883-1913. Bestaande gebouwen werden ingericht als klaslokalen, het onderwijs werd toevertrouwd aan de broeders van Onze-Lieve-Vrouw van Lourdes te Oostakker. Bouw van drie nieuwe klassen met erboven een feestzaal in 1911. Uitbreiding met nieuwe schoolvleugel in 1915. Bouw van een woonhuis voor de broeders (nummer 4) in 1922-1923. School nogmaals uitgebreid in 1930 (nieuwe klassen, directiebureel, bibliotheek en turnzaal) en in 1985.
