Waarschijnlijk gaat de inplanting van een hoeve op deze plek terug tot het einde van de 12de eeuw, wanneer de kerk van Bellingen met priorij aan de abdij van Cantimpré werd geschonken.
Nadat de abdij op het einde van de 18de eeuw was afgeschaft, werden haar goederen openbaar verkocht. De hoeve kwam zo omstreeks 1793 in handen van een Halse kasteelheer.
Ze onderging in de 19de eeuw heel wat verbouwingen, waarbij ondermeer materiaal werd gebruikt van het gesloopte klooster.
Dit is het wagenhuis. Verder voorbij de wegbocht hebt u zicht op het woonhuis, de stallen en de schuren, gegroepeerd rond een ruime binnenkoer.
Het erf is niet voor bezoek toegankelijk.
