Sint-Bartholomeuskerk -- De kerk zoals deze er nu bij staat dateert van 1622, nadat haar voorganger tijdens de godsdienstoorlogen door brand was vernield. Tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog trof een V-bom de kerk. Daarna werd ze jarenlang gerestaureerd. De kerk geldt als een van de mooiste in Antwerpen. Voor de kerk werd in het begin van de 18de eeuw een schandpaal of Kaak neer gezet. Het beeld van Sint-Bartholomeus kwam er in 1867, het aan de schandpaal zetten was inmiddels afgeschaft. Later werd het mes, als symbool voor zijn martelaarsdood, in de linkerhand van Sint- Bartholomeus toegevoegd.
