Lotenhulle is een plaats in de Belgische provincie Oost-Vlaanderen. Het is een deelgemeente van Aalter sinds de fusies van 1977. Het heeft een oppervlakte van 1766 ha, en telt 2249 inwoners (op 01/01/2004).
De naam heeft een Frankische oorspronk. Lo komt van lauha, wat "klein bosrijk gebied" betekent en hulle komt van hulja wat "zanderige grond of helling" betekent. Als onderscheiding met Lochristi, dat oorspronkelijk ook Lo heette, werd -ten-Hulle aan de naam toegevoegd.
