Lotenhulle est un lieu dans la province belge de Flandre-Orientale. C'est une section de Aalter depuis les fusions de 1977. Elle a une superficie de 1766 ha et compte 2249 habitants (au 01/01/2004).
Le nom a une origine franque. Lo vient de lauha, qui signifie "petite zone boisée", et hulle vient de hulja qui signifie "sol ou pente sablonneux". Pour se différencier de Lochristi, qui s'appelait également Lo à l'origine, -ten-Hulle a été ajouté au nom.
