Dit empire-gebouw van architect Jacques Dutry werd gebouwd in 1807. Het was gedurende vele jaren het ‘speeltje’ van de adellijke familie Van de Woestijne. Het kasteel was omringd door een tuin in Engelse stijl wat voor die tijd vernieuwend was. De ijskelder en de oranjerie uit 1836 zijn eveneens bezienswaardig. De ijskelder werd door Natuurpunt ingericht als winterverblijf voor vleermuizen. Verschillende leden van de familie waren fervente planten- en bloemenverzamelaars.
