Sinds 1983 kweekt Daniël Boons de lekkere rode vruchten in zijn serres in Rosselaar. Het aardbeienseizon loopt van half april tot begin november, maar vanaf half maart is er bij hun al één en al bedrijvigheid. Daniël teelt zijn aardbeien volgens het lastenboek van veilig Hoogstraten. Zijn vruchten zijn ook Global-Gap gecertificeerd en voldoen dus aan de strengste Europese normen voor duurzaamheid en milieu.
