Het arrondissement Leuven is een van de twee arrondissementen in Vlaams-Brabant. Het ligt ten oosten van het Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest. Het arrondissement heeft een oppervlakte van 1.163,22 km² en telde 508.734 inwoners op 1 januari 2019.Het arrondissement Leuven ontstond in 1800 als tweede arrondissement in het Dijledepartement. Het bestond oorspronkelijk uit de kieskantons Aarschot, Diest, Glabbeek, Graven, Haacht, Leuven, Tienen en Zoutleeuw.
