Het gehucht Sterbos ontleent z’n naam aan het nabijgelegen kasteeldomein Sterbos. Zoals je al geraden had, is dit domein stervormig aangelegd met lange eiken- en beukendreven die naar het kasteel leiden. De toegangsboog zie je op de foto. De ster is hier een handelsmerk, zo is het je waarschijnlijk ook opgevallen dat de aanplant voor de kerk eveneens stervormig is.
