De Vogelzangbeek is hier gelegen pal op de grens van twee gemeenten Sint-Pieters-Leeuw (in Vlaanderen) en Anderlecht (in het Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest).
Hier wordt gewerkt aan een betere landschappelijke, hydrologische, ecologische en recreatieve inbedding van de Vogelzangbeek in het sterk verstedelijkte weefsel. Een eerste toonaangevend project is het ontharden van een verouderd bedrijfsperceel dat gebouwd is tot op de oeverwand van de beek. Het bedrijfsperceel wordt aangekocht en ingericht als natuurgebied.
