Vogelzangbækken ligger her lige på grænsen mellem to kommuner, Sint-Pieters-Leeuw (i Flandern) og Anderlecht (i det Bruxelles-Hovedstadsregion).
Her arbejdes der på en bedre landskabelig, hydrologisk, økologisk og rekreativ indpasning af Vogelzangbækken i det stærkt urbaniserede væv. Et første banebrydende projekt er nedrivningen af en forældet virksomhedsejendom, der er bygget helt op til bredden af bækken. Virksomhedsejendommen købes og indrettes som naturområde.
