De voormalige sprotmijn ("sprotkot"), of Eurohal vanaf 1971, is een typerend rond gebouwtje van gele baksteen onder een koperen koepel. Aanleunend tegen het gebouw vindt men het klein monument "Eurovis" met opschrift "OOSTENDE EUROVISSERSHAVEN 1971".

Het monument bestaat uit een betonnen blok met de uitsparing van een haring of sprot.
