En in de periode van de overval op de Delhaize in Aalst is Beijer daar foto's van de omgeving gaan nemen - toch wel erg toevallig. Dat voorbeeld komt trouwens ook terug in de serie '1985'. Beijer beweert dat hij dat deed als detective in ben het kader van een echtscheidingsdossier, wat een vreemde uitleg is. Ze hebben het intussen nagetrokken en daar klopt niets van. "
