Het kasteel van Terlaemen is een privédomein maar het loont de moeite om het van in het bos bij de Kluis te bewonderen. Het landgoed is 142 hectare groot en bestaat uit dennen- en loofbossen, prachtige heide en 50 hectare vijvers die in de 13de eeuw ontstonden door de ontginning van ijzerzandsteen.
