Het vierhoekige marktplein van Langemark wordt gedomineerd door de driebeukige neogotische hallenkerk Sint-Paulus, gebouwd in 1923-1925 door architect Thierry Nolf uit Torhout. De kerk heeft een zware westertoren en staat te midden van een omhaagd en met linden omzoomd grasperk.
Doordat in de oorlog alles verloren is gegaan bevat de kerk, behalve de glasramen, geen grote kerkschatten. In 2002, toen de parochie negenhonderd jaar bestond, werd de liturgische ruimte met altaar, lezenaar en stoelen, heringericht. Regelmatig wordt de kerk gebruikt voor concerten, voordracht, lezingen.
Sinds 2009 werd de kerk verrijkt met het hedendaagse kunstwerk "Kruisweg van liefde": 5 krachtige doeken verbeelden Golgotha en de kruisdood, maar ook de kruisafname en de verijzenis van Jesus. Het werk is van de Brusselse materieschilder Luc Hoenraet.
