SILT is de naam van een opvallend, recent gebouwd casino-hotel-evenementencomplex in Middelkerke.
Het gebouw omvat onder andere een viersterrenhotel met zeezicht, een casino, een restaurant en een multifunctionele evenementenzaal. Het architectonisch unieke ontwerp integreert landschap en architectuur, met delen die onder een kunstmatig duin verscholen liggen en een hoteltoren met een opvallende houten structuur eromheen. De ronde vorm verwijst naar een ‘bolder’ of meerpaal om grote schepen aan te meren. Het gebouw lijkt los te komen van de kust door zijn ligging op een kunstmatige uitbouw op het strand. Bij helder weer is het zichtbaar tot in Duinkerke.
