Het station Interlaken West is, na het station Interlaken Oost, het kleinere van de twee stations van de Bernese gemeente Interlaken. Het ligt aan de Thunerseebahn en wordt naast regionale treinen ook bediend door alle treinen van het langeafstandvervoer die naar Interlaken Oost gaan, waaronder Intercity- en ICE-treinen. Het station is eigendom van de BLS, maar wordt ook bediend door treinen van de SBB.
Het station werd op 12 augustus 1872 geopend als Interlaken in het kader van de eerste fase van de Bödelibahn. Bijna twee jaar later volgde de verlenging over Interlaken Zollhaus naar Bönigen. De belangrijkste reden voor de aanleg van deze spoorlijn was de te overbruggen afstand tussen het Thunermeer en het Brienzermeer in Interlaken.
