Peenemünde is een plaats en gemeente op het eiland Usedom, dat behoort tot de Duitse deelstaat Mecklenburg-Voor-Pommeren. Het eiland ligt in de Oostzee. Het dorp telt 246 inwoners.
In de Tweede Wereldoorlog werd vlak naast het dorp onderzoek en ontwikkeling gedaan naar V-wapens, de zogenaamde Vergeltungswaffen die werden gebruikt als geheime wapens van de Duitse Wehrmacht.
