Bruchmachtersen is een van de 31 wijken van de gemeente Salzgitter in Nedersaksen, gelegen in het dorp Nord. Bruchmachtersen ligt ten westen van Salzgitter-Lebenstedt en Salzgitter-Salder, noordoostelijk van Salzgitter-Lichtenberg en ten zuiden van het Salzgittermeer.
Bruchmachtersen maakte tot 31 maart 1942 deel uit van de districten Wolfenbüttel en werd op 1 april 1942 een deel van de grote stad Watenstedt-Salzgitter. Op 23 januari 1951 werd deze omgevormd tot Salzgitter.
