Gatow is een stadsdeel van Berlijn, dat zich in het zuiden van het district Spandau bevindt. Gatow is een van de minst bevolkte stadsdelen van Berlijn met 3.741 inwoners. In het zuiden grenst het aan Kladow, in het noorden aan Wilhelmstadt, in het oosten stroomt de Havel en in het westen ligt de stadsgrens van Berlijn, die Gatow scheidt van de aangrenzende gemeenten Potsdam en Dallgow-Döberitz. Geologisch ligt Gatow op de uitlopers van het door gletsjers gevormde Nauener Plateau naar de Havelniederung.
Gatow wordt ook wel beschreven als een "dorp in de grote stad". Er zijn veel eengezinswoningen met tuinen en weinig meergezinswoningen.
