Posteholz is een riddergoed en deelgemeente van Aerzen. Het kleine dorp Posteholz ligt bovenop het riddergoed.
De bouwheer van het goed was de lippe geheimraad Arnold Ludwig von Post, die na de afstand van kolonel Hermann Lothar von Post in 1661 ermee werd beleend. Als gevolg van houtroof had Hannover in 1678 de regeling uitgevaardigd om af te zien van houten hekken, zodat een kostbaar stenen hek werd opgericht. Na de uitsterving van de tak van de familie te Posteholz wisselde het landgoed meerdere keren van eigenaar. In 1776 liet Jobst Gabriel von Wülfingen het huidige herenhuis bouwen en de tuin aanleggen.
