De HBO-acteursopleiding Bochum is de geïnstitionaliseerde benaming voor de opleidingen Acteren en Regie op de campus Bochum van de Folkwang Universiteit voor de Kunsten.
De opleidingsinstelling werd in 1939 opgericht als Westfaalse Acteursopleiding Bochum door Saladin Schmitt, de toenmalige directeur van het Schauspielhaus Bochum. De instelling viel onder verantwoordelijkheid van de stad Bochum. Tot in de jaren 70 waren de directeuren van het Schauspielhaus in persoonlijke unie ook de artistieke leiding van de school. In 2000 ging de acteursopleiding over in de exclusieve verantwoordelijkheid van de deelstaat Noordrijn-Westfalen en werd zij aangesloten bij de Bochumer locatie van de Essense Folkwang-Muziekhogeschool, de huidige Folkwang Universiteit voor de Kunsten.
