De Gipsmijn in Neckarzimmern in de Neckar-Odenwald-Kreis is een uitgebreid tunnelsysteem, waarin ongeveer 170.000 m² oppervlakte en meer dan 40 km wegen en spoorwegen door de Bundeswehr worden gebruikt. De oorspronkelijke gipsmijn, de mijn Hornberg die teruggaat tot de 18e eeuw, speelde al een belangrijke rol in de oorlogs economie van de beide wereldoorlogen. Sommige van de toegangen bevinden zich direct aan de B 27.
