De Hochschule für Finanzen is een hogeschool voor openbare administratie in Nordkirchen. De deelstaat Noordrijn-Westfalen leidt aan de hogeschool de toekomstige medewerkers op voor loopbaan groep 2.1 binnen de financiële administratie van de deelstaat. De financieel trainees zijn tijdens hun studie gehuisvest in het kasteel van Nordkirchen en in aangrenzende, extra gebouwde nieuwbouw. Het succesvol afgeronde studie geeft recht op het voeren van de academische graad Diplom-Finanzwirt.
