De St. Salvator is een pelgrimcomplex boven Schwäbisch Gmünd. Het bestaat uit twee rotskapellen die samen de pelgrimskerk St. Salvator vormen, evenals een kruisweg met meerdere kapellen. De kruisweg is in de vorm zoals deze in Schwäbisch Gmünd aanwezig is, uniek.
Al vóór 1483 bevond zich op de Nepperberg, ook wel Eberstein genoemd, een cultusplaats. In dat jaar vermeldde de Ulmse dominicaan Felix Fabri ter gelegenheid van zijn bezoek aan de Jakobsgrot in Jeruzalem, dat deze hem deed denken aan de heel soortgelijke maar kleinere grot, de Eberstein bij Gmünd in Zwaben.
