De eerste vermelde inwijding van de ‘Liboriuskapelle’ is genoteerd op 1680. Ze behoorde tot de onder aanliggende kluis (Einsiedelei) en werd in 1901 door een ander gebouw vervangen. Deze werd in 1944/45 vernietigd. De huidige kapel is gebouwd in 1951. Van hier heeft men een uitzicht op de abdij van ‘Echternach’, die van 698 tot 1795 het geestelijke en economische middelpunt van de regio was.
