Continental AG is een Duits fabrikant van banden, remsystemen, stabiliteitssystemen en andere voertuigonderdelen. Het hoofdkantoor is gevestigd in Hannover.
Continental heeft de activiteiten in twee belangrijke groepen verdeeld, Automotive en Rubber. Het aandeel van Rubber in de totale verkopen is circa een derde. Van de totale omzet wordt de helft in Europa gerealiseerd, een kwart in Noord-Amerika en de rest in Azië. Wereldwijd werken er ongeveer 235.000 mensen voor Continental, waarvan een kwart in Duitsland. In 2017 telde Automotive 135.000 medewerkers en Rubber ongeveer 100.000. Het bedrijf is wereldwijd in zo'n 60 landen actief.
