De Johannisberg is een 200 m hoge deel van de noordelijke kam van het Teutoburger Woud in Bielefeld. Samen met de tegenovergelegen Sparrenberg, die de Sparrenburg draagt, vormt hij de oostelijke grens van de Bielefelder Pas. Het nauwelijks 4 km lange gedeelte van de kam tussen de Bielefelder Pas en de uitsnijding van de Johannesbeek is weinig geglied. Aan de Johannisberg sluit de 226 m hoge Ochsenberg met de Ochsenheide aan, en daarachter de 209 m hoge Stecklenbrink.
