Het kasteel Hellenbroich was een middeleeuws riddergoed met recht van vergadering in de Honschaft Diepensiepen, ten zuiden van Mettmann.
Het oorspronkelijk vestigingshuis, later kasteel, lag aan de Mettmanner Bach, kort voordat deze in de Düssel uitmondt. Het naamdeel -broich voor Bruch verwijst naar het moerassige gebied aan de benedenloop van de Mettmanner Bach.
