Rosenthal is een gehucht in de wijk Birgelen, dat behoort tot Wassenberg, in Noordrijn-Westfalen. Bij Rosenthal hoort de kleine nederzetting met de naam Schaufenberg.
Rosenthal grenst in het noordwesten aan de voormalige Mercury-nederzetting bij Rothenbach, in het noorden aan het station dat bij Rosenthal hoort, in het oosten aan Schaufenberg en de voormalige schacht van de mijn Sophia-Jacoba, Hückelhoven, waar nu de bouwplaats van de stad Wassenberg is gevestigd. In het zuiden ligt de grotere stadswijk Birgelen.
