Groß Zecher is een deelgemeente van de gemeente Seedorf in de Kreis Herzogtum Lauenburg in het zuidoostelijke Sleeswijk-Holstein.
Groß Zecher werd in 1194 voor het eerst schriftelijk vermeld als Scachere in het Isfriedsche deelcontract. De naam is van Wendische oorsprong. Lange tijd werd Groß Zecher gekenmerkt door landbouw. De plaats is gevormd door meren, bossen en landbouwgrond en bezit met het goed Groß Zecher een grote boerderij, die al in 1681 in het bezit was van de familie von Witzendorff. Van 1888/89 tot 1948 en opnieuw van 1948 tot 2006 behoorde de gemeente tot het Amt Sterley, dat in 1971 met het Amt Gudow is samengevoegd tot het Amt Gudow-Sterley.
