Groß Zecher est un village et une ancienne commune allemande du district de Lauenburg, dans le Schleswig-Holstein.
Groß Zecher a été mentionné pour la première fois dans un document en 1194 sous le nom de Scachere dans le traité de partition d’Isfried. Le nom est d’origine wende. Pendant longtemps, Groß Zecher a été dominé par l’agriculture. Le village se caractérise par des zones lacustres, forestières et agricoles et dispose d’un grand domaine avec le domaine Groß Zecher, qui appartenait à la famille von Witzendorff dès 1681. De 1888/89 à nouveau de 1948 à 2006, la communauté appartenait à l’Amt de Sterley, qui a fusionné avec l’Amt de Gudow en 1971 pour former l’Amt de Gudow-Sterley.
