Göbeln, obersorbisch, is een plaats in het oosten van de Landkreis Bautzen in Saksen en maakt sinds 1994 deel uit van de gemeente Großdubrau. De plaats ligt in de Oberlausitz en behoort tot het woongebied van de Sorben.
Göbeln bevindt zich in het Oberlausitzer heide- en vijverlandschap, ongeveer 14 kilometer noordoostelijk van Bautzen in de vallei van de Kleine Spree. Terwijl dat gebied en de verdere zuidelijke omgeving van Göbeln landbouwkundig worden gebruikt, strekken zich in noordelijke richting uitgestrekte bos- en heidegebieden uit.
